FAQ

  • Tickets are available for purchase at the door—please note that we do not offer online ticket sales.
  • It is the responsibility of caregivers of children to attend to their children at all times
  • Their must be adequate supervision for all children. Mt Playmore is a very large facility and small children are easily “lost” when parents do not keep them under constant supervision.
  • Parents are not allowed to leave Mt Playmore and leave children unattended. A parent or guardian must be on site at all times.
  • Caregivers must explain these rules to their children and ensure they know what is allowed.
  • No outside food or drinks are allowed, there is no exception to this rule except for infants being fed baby food. A nursing room is available in our Toddler room for nursing mothers.
  • Socks are required in playscape at all times
  • Socks are required in Toddler Room. No shoes are allowed by children or adults
  • Our Toddler room is for babies and toddlers only (36” and under). Older siblings that come into the room may be asked to leave if there are too many big kids in the room. They are not allowed to play on the equipment or toys as those are weighted for small children.
  • Mt Playmore is designed for small children (2-12 years old), older children who are here with siblings and friends must respect that this is designed for little one’s and must give-way to little ones in the playscape
  • No pets or comfort animals are allowed at Mt Playmore, except for certified Service Animals. They must wear foot coverings to be in the playscape with their human.  Please inform Manager upon arrival and we will assist in anyway we can to ensure we can accommodate the service animal and child.
  • No rough housing is allowed. Families with children who engage in this type of behavior will be asked to leave if the behavior is not stopped.  No refund will be given.
  • No running in Mt Playmore
  • All food must be eaten in the main dining area, no food is allowed in the playscape, toddler room or arcade areas.
  • No drinks are allowed in the arcade
  • A water bottle filled with water is allowed at Mt Playmore, however it may not be made of glass.
  • No chewing gum is allowed at Mt Playmore or any other substance that can stick to floors and walls and be hard to remove
  • Mt Playmore does not discriminate in anyway and will not tolerate any discrimination by its team members or Guests
  • Do not enter the playscape with any knapsacks, purses, sharp objects, loose jewelry, pens, etc. as they are easy to get lost or damage playscape
  • No climbing on the safety netting
  • No smoking, chewing tobacco, vaping of any kind is allowed
  • No Firearms or knives are allowed inside the facility
  • Mt Playmore is a certified “NO HIT ZONE”. We do not allow parents to hit their children or children to hit their parents or anyone else while inside Mt Playmore facility.
  • Appropriate clean attire is required. No clothing that has inappropriate language, curse words or clothing that exposes underwear or excessive portions of the skin or which may be viewed as inappropriate in a family environment.
  • Do not bring your child in to play if they are sick. We reserve the right to ask families with sick children to leave Mt Playmore.
  • Any threats or violent behavior to other guests or our team members will result in your removal from Mt Playmore without refund.
  • A waiver is required to be on file for ALL people who are in our facility whether playing or viewing.
  • We do not accept any liability for loss, damage or theft of items while playing. However, we do our best to locate any lost items.

Mt Playmore is great for infants, toddlers, and children up to about 12 years old and their parents. Older children are welcome to play if they wish, but we will not tolerate rowdy behavior or any behavior that frightens or disrupts the enjoyment of our younger guests.

Yes, and it is encouraged! Unlike bounce houses and trampoline based attractions, our equipment is designed for parents to be able to safely and comfortably interact with their children! At Mt. Playmore, parents don’t need to just sit and watch their kids – they can join in the fun!

Appropriate, clean attire is required. We do not allow clothing which exposes underwear or excessive portions of the skin, or which may be viewed as inappropriate in a family environment. Socks are required.

For sanitary reasons, NO shoes are allowed in the playscape. Shoe storage bins are conveniently located at each entrance/exit from the playscape, as well as throughout the building.

Yes, for sanitary reasons socks must be worn in the playscape at all times. If you forgot to bring socks, they are available for a nominal charge at the front desk.

No – the play structure is designed to handle any weight that could be applied by any number of visitors.

We have THE LARGEST toddler only area in Austin! Over 1400 sq ft of space filled with a selection age appropriate toys, activities, and play elements. We are always on the lookout for suggestions for items to be added to this area, so please email us using the “contact us” link above if you have any requests.

Yes. Our admission is a day pass, and includes unlimited return admissions throughout the day.

As of May 1st 2015, this is no longer allowed. This is being done in consideration of our other guests, who often cannot find seating in the dining area on busy days due to a large number of our tables being claimed by these parties for long periods of time with nobody sitting at them.

While we recommend enjoying the adult sitting area and relax while your kid enjoys their time at Mt. Playmore, our  our equipment is able to safely and comfortably have a parent interact with their children in the play areas.

No, animals are not allowed other than service animals as defined by ADA Regulations.  Emotional support animals are NOT considered service animals as per the ADA and are NOT allowed.

That’s not high-fructose corn syrup you’re tasting. It’s 100% organic sugar cane, and it comes Fair Trade from our friends in Brazil. They farm our key ingredient, we support their hospitals and schools and you get to enjoy a variety of amazing refreshments. It’s a pretty sweet supply chain.

The Hungry Yeti Cafe at Mt Playmore is not what you may expect!  We believe that food should be a part of the experience, not just a way to fill up.  We are not a “snack bar” or a concession serving the low quality fast food commonly found at a children’s play center.  We pride ourselves on a made to order kitchen with an extensive menu with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, wraps, and more.  From our hand made nachos, to our freshly battered and deep fried Oreos and everything in between we take pride in what we serve.  More information about our menu can be found on the food page on our website.

Yes.  We have a selection of local microbrews available, as well a number of different wine options by the glass.  Additionally, we serve Mimosas and Sangrias.  Please see the p for the full selection.

Yes. In addition to normally gluten free items such as salads and fresh fruits, we also have gluten free pizza dough as well as gluten free buns for our burgers and chicken sandwiches.

Yes! With the prevalence of peanut allergies in young children, Mt. Playmore is a peanut free facility. No peanuts or peanut byproducts are used in any of our food offerings.

NO.  Mt Playmore DOES NOT allow any “walk-in birthday parties” or any outside food or drinks. You can ONLY  bring in a birthday cake or cupcakes for reserved birthday parties or private events to be used in one of our private party rooms.

You can or call one of our Party Specialists at (512) 989-8886.  Please note, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 is required to reserve your date and time.   The $75 deposit is applied towards the cost of the party at the time of payment. Payment is accepted in cash or Credit. Personal checks are NOTaccepted.

You may reschedule your party up to 7 days before the date of your party and your deposit will be credited to the rescheduled party.  Your rescheduled party must be within 6 months of the originally reserved date.

Yes.  All Mt Playmore party packages include pizza and soft drinks for all children in the party.  Full details of what is included in each package can be found on the party section of our website.

Our full menu from the Hungry Yeti Cafe is available to be added to your party package, as well as a number of Party Platters options.  Please speak to a party specialist to add any additional items to your package.  Please note, Party Platters must be ordered at least 5 days prior to your party to ensure availability.

Yes.  Up to 7 days prior to your event you may make any desired changes with the following exceptions.Increasing the number of attendees will be contingent on the availability of an appropriately sized party room.Increasing OR decreasing the party size may require the time of the party to be adjusted due to party room availability.

The largest party room at Mt Playmore is sized for 20 children.  If you wish to have a larger party, please call a party specialist at (512) 989-8886 to discuss options to reserve multiple party rooms for your event.

In addition to daily wipe downs of all surfaces with standard disinfectants, we utilize the GermSafe program from Dis-In-Fx. The Treatment is administered through a Fog-Application process. In this process a combination of EPA registered, Hospital Grade Disinfectants are utilized in conjunction with a Residual Antimicrobial Coating.

An immediate or ‘wet kill’ is achieved leaving behind a ‘dry kill’ Residual Antimicrobial that World Health Organization approved laboratories confirm the residual technology in the Antimicrobial used by DisInFx has been proven to reduce the growth of microbial populations by up to 99.99% and continues to inhibit their return for months. Our playground utilizes Tensioned Web Floors, post padding, and cushioned thresholds, as well as a wide assortment of foam-core attractions, making a safe, non-hazardous play structure. Our web floors produce a soft, impact-absorbing surface that’s easy on feet and knees. Unlike other “soft” indoor playgrounds, we have very few hard plastic surfaces or solid surfaces covered in a thin layer of foam.

No. Pursuant to 30.06 and 30.07 of the Texas Penal Code, Mt. Playmore does not allow either concealed or open carry firearms on our premises.

We understand that the safety and security of your children is of the utmost importance. Upon entering Mt. Playmore all parents and children will be stamped with a unique identifier visible under UV light. Children will only be allowed to leave the facility in the presence of a parent with a matching identifier.

No, but to ensure the safety and health of our guests and staff, we recommend everyone to wear a mask in our facility.

We have hand sanitizer dispensers around the building, have manual wipe downs of all equipment, chairs, and tables. Our employees are required to take handwashing breaks throughout the day to continue our efforts to keep everyone safe at Mt Playmore.

NO! We require our guests and staff to be healthy when participating in any activity/working in our facility. If a staff member has a fever or is experiencing any illness symptoms, they are required to leave and not return back to work until healthy.
