Cleanliness at Mt Playmore

Steps Mt Playmore Is Taking To Avoid The Spread Of Germs

COVID-19 Restrictions continue to lift across the nation, allowing people to return to traveling and resuming their everyday activities. At Mt Playmore, we are optimistic about our future and hopeful that COVID-19 cases continue to decrease. However, we are also realistic and want to prioritize the safety and well-being of each of the children and parents that walk through the door of our facility.

We take the safety of our guests very seriously. We created Mt Playmore to provide a safe place for children to play, and this safety extends to combating the spread of germs. As a team, we are taking certain precautions and steps to avoid the spread of germs in our building and our playscapes.

UPDATE: MASK MANDATE

Previously at Mt Playmore, masks were required besides when eating for everyone over the age of 10. However, as of May 2021, the City of Austin has eliminated its mask mandate.

In following CDC Guidelines and local laws, masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated individuals.

To decrease the spread of germs and potentially COVID-19, we strongly recommend continued mask usage for all guests, but it is no longer mandatory!

Again, we are committed to you and your family’s well being so our Mt Playmore team members will continue wearing masks. Note that if you need a mask, request one from one of our Mt Playmore team members.

DAILY HEALTH SCREENINGS FOR STAFF

Before clocking into work, our Mt Playmore team members must fill out a health screening questionnaire. We also required that everyone’s temperatures are taken.

Anyone who does not pass the screening questionnaire or has a temperature over 100.4 degrees will not be allowed to work until they can pass the questionnaire and/or have a temperature lower than 100.4!

ANTIMICROBIAL SURFACE TREATMENTS

Since our creation, we have been highly focused on the health and safety of our guests and team members. We have adequate measures in place to prevent the spread of germs.

Most importantly, we are DIS.IN.FX Germ Expert Certified! This treatment process combines fogging/spraying/misting technologies that treat our entire facility with a proprietary blend of high-powered disinfectants, cleaners, and LAST™ Antimicrobial Coating™.

This treatment process is proven to kill 99.99% of harmful microbes and inhibit microbial growth. This is followed up with periodic ATP testing, which can detect microbial existence on surfaces and is used to verify the effectiveness of our disinfection program.

Our staff members remain diligent throughout the day with cleaning and sanitation. We frequently disinfect and repeatedly sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the day.

We hope that our attention to detail regarding cleaning and disinfecting can allow you to relax and enjoy your time at Mt Playmore.

*We also utilize a professional disinfectant company monthly for added precautions

HAND SANITIZING STATIONS

Throughout our facility, we have numerous hand sanitizer dispensers. We also have sanitizing wipes that are freely available for our guests to use!

Further, we have installed a sanitizer dispenser by our front door that all guests will be asked to use immediately upon entering Mt Playmore.

Our dispensers are designed with safety in mind as they are fully automated, touch-free Meritech hand wash stations.

This equipment has been tested in FDA-certified laboratories to prove that it consistently removes more than 99.9% of harmful pathogens with each wash cycle. Note that this station is located adjacent to the Hungry Yeti Café, so feel free to check it out before ordering lunch!

*An extra perk: kids love using it!

We are taking every possible precaution to ensure that you and your family can enjoy a safe, fun-filled afternoon at Mt Playmore, but we all must work together to ensure that everyone stays safe and healthy.

That being said, if you are feeling unwell or are displaying any symptoms associated with COVD-19, please stay home! Although we never want to turn away any of our guests, we reserve the right to refuse admission in such cases to maintain the safety and security of the rest of our greats and staff members.

Please feel free to reach out to our team with suggestions on how we can improve or any questions or concerns that you may have! Your feedback is important to us.
